Clinical superspecialty curriculum and application evidence

The MUHAS 2025/2026–2026/2027 prospectus explicitly identifies a post-MMed clinical superspecialty in Urogynaecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. Entry is from Obstetrics and Gynaecology or Urology specialist training, or an equivalent qualification; this differs from an initial specialty residency.

Its four-semester curriculum progresses from clinical assessment and pelvic-floor dysfunction to operative urogynaecology, genitourinary trauma, urinary diversion and incontinence, followed by specialty and advanced urogynaecology modules. Substantial practical hours are listed each semester. A longitudinal clinical audit covers proposal development, data collection, analysis, presentation and submission.

The general post-MMed regulations describe full-time coursework and clinical audits, without a dissertation, and require supervised procedural competence documented in logbooks and portfolios. The prospectus establishes programme structure and entry qualifications, but not a current vacancy, deadline, named faculty roster, programme-specific tuition, salary or visa support. Fees and duration from the separate MFM catalogue have not been copied into this programme.
